BlueScope Steel Limited

Partnering with Culture Across Time has been instrumental for our journey towards building a culturally aware workforce. Their comprehensive cultural education program has equipped our leaders to effectively navigate and address cultural challenges, fostering a more inclusive work environment. The interactive learning experiences, such as participating in truth-telling yarning circles, have significantly enhanced our cultural empathy and strengthen our connection with local Indigenous communities. This has been pivotal in our commitment to grow and support the representation, engagement and inclusion of First Nations people across our business. Errolyn’s empathetic and non-judgemental approach creates a safe space for learning, enabling our leaders to engage deeply on cultural issues without feelings of guilt. Since partnering with Culture Across Time, we have observed tangible improvements in team dynamics and cultural competence. We highly recommend Culture Across Time for any organisation aiming to enhance their cultural competency and foster diverse, inclusive work practices.

Warrigal Aged Care

I first encountered Errolyn’s Cultural Training years ago, and like all attendees, I was profoundly and positively impacted by the experience. When I moved to a new organisation, one of my first actions was to engage Errolyn to embed her training into our organisation.

Errolyn's Cultural Training stands out from any other formal or informal training I have attended. This sentiment is echoed by every attendee I speak to. The training is genuinely immersive, offering an interactive workshop that caters to all learning styles. The unique activities, such as going to an island and balancing privilege, present information in innovative ways that leave a deep impact. Through her passion and approach, Errolyn creates a safe space to pause, reflect, question, and learn deeply, confronting your own conscious and subconscious biases.

I highly recommend this training for every organisation, staff member, and individual. I have engaged Errolyn to conduct this training in two organisations I have worked in, and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.

Big Fat Smile

Errolyn from Culture Across Time has been an amazing facilitator and truth teller for our organisation. We have varying disciplines that attend Errolyn’s cultural immersion session and the feedback is always so positive. The sessions are engaging and interactive, making participants lean into the session.

Errolyn is generous in sharing her stories and creating a safe space to allow learning and action from the group. When I talk to team members who attended sessions they have mentioned having a new perspective on our world but are hopeful for reconciliation.

We are so very lucky to have regular sessions with Errolyn across the course of the year, this is our commitment to achieve unity, connection and reconciliation.

Training Participants

Errolyn provided a very thought provoking session that made me further examine my beliefs, biases and professional practices.  It reminded me that I am brave and that I need to rediscover my internal advocate. It allowed us to explore White Privilege and Structural Racism in a very safe space. It is always a privilege to enter someone’s ‘space’ and I appreciate your invitation.  The training session is very interactive and provides opportunities for participants to undertake exercises and activities that allow you to ‘walk in someone else’s shoes’. I strongly recommend the training for any organisation.

Elders

As an older Koori and someone who has been involved in the Aboriginal affairs portfolio for over 40years,  I often become concerned about the messages being conveyed to participants and how participants feel following their attendance at cultural awareness training. After attending and reviewing Errolyn Strang’s one-day Cross Cultural presentation, I recommended to the Executive of the organisation I work for that all staff attend this training. The presentations are relevant, the content relevant and the conduct of the presenter, exceptional.  Staff I spoke to within my organisation rated the training highly and would encourage other staff to attend.
